Thank you for considering helping at the WCNS. We rely on volunteers in order to be able to open our doors each night, and we are always very grateful for more help. Please take a minute to browse through the different volunteer opportunites – cooks, evening helpers, overnighters, cleaners - on the menu bar on the left.  All these volunteer jobs are a crucial service to keeping the Shelter open and can be very rewarding too.

If you are interested in considering volunteering at the Nightshelter, please contact our Manager, Michele Price, who will be happy to answer any questions and to show you around the Nightshelter.

For paid employment opportunities, please have a look at our Staff Vacancies page. If you are interested in working with the homeless and you have some qualifications and experience in this field then please do not hesitate to email the Manager on michele@wcns.org.uk to find out if there are any vacancies.

We have a wonderful group of volunteers and generous donors, but we desperately need more help. Some roles do not require you to come in to the Nightshelter (eg cooking a meal at home).
