Charity Walk on 9th May

On Sunday May 9th that the Winchester Churches Nightshelter is joining up to do with the Trinity Day Centre, Keystone (Winchester Churches Housing Group) and the Rotary Club of Winchester.

We very much hope that you will be keen to sign up to join in this sponsored walk, with all your family and friends, and that you can advertise the event by displaying a poster in your Church, School or community as well as promoting this event on your website if you have one. If you feel you can help with publicity we do have plenty of postcards that advertise the event if you would like to call in at the Nightshelter and take some away with you to distribute.

The Nightshelter is running a Tombola for the event (on the Cathedral outer Close) and we are looking for volunteers to man the stall at any time between 11.00am – 3.30 pm and/or to donate some items towards the Tombola stand.

For more information, please go to www.winchesterwalk.co.uk

1,900 lbs. in weight donated!

Curves of Romsey have very kindly donated 1,900lbs in weight of food to the Nightshelter and Emmaus Winchester.   An amazing donation! Our grateful thanks to Debbie Hingley and all her members for such a fantastic donation of two car loads of tinned food – well done Debbie and the team  pictured here handing over some of the items to Michele Price, the Nightshelter Manager.
